Recipe Overview

  • Servings: 12 × 4 oz soap bars

  • Prep Time: 20 minutes

  • Set Time: 2 hours

Equipment

  • Soap molds (12 × 4 oz)

  • Rubbing alcohol in spray bottle (prevents bubbles)

  • Microwave-safe bowl or double boiler

  • Thermometer

  • Silicone spatula

Ingredients

  • 5 g CBD Isolate or CBG Isolate

  • 1 g THC extract (optional)

  • 48 oz melt-and-pour soap base (goat’s milk or shea butter are popular)

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1–2 tbsp essential oils (lavender, tea tree, peppermint, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare base: Cut melt-and-pour soap base into small chunks for even melting.

  2. Melt soap:

    • Microwave: Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between rounds until melted.

    • Double boiler: Stir occasionally until fully melted.

  3. Add oils & cannabinoids: Stir coconut oil and isolates (plus optional THC extract) into melted soap. Mix thoroughly for even distribution.

  4. Incorporate extras: Add essential oils, natural colorants, or exfoliants. Mix well.

  5. Pour into molds: Carefully fill each mold evenly.

  6. Set: Allow soap to cool and harden at room temp for ~2 hours (may vary with conditions).

  7. Unmold: Once firm, gently remove bars from molds.

Notes & Dosage

  • Each 4 oz bar contains approximately:

    • ~400 mg CBD or CBG (if using 5 g isolate across 12 bars)

    • ~70 mg THC (if using 1 g extract across 12 bars)

Tip: Store in a cool, dry place. Wrap finished bars to preserve fragrance and extend shelf life.
