OUR FARM-GROWN CBD + CBG
From our field. To your bottle.
We grow, harvest, dry, extract and process our hemp on the farm, and we make and bottle our own products. Our CBD and CBG start with USDA Certified Organic hemp and our water-only extraction process.

01 Young hemp starts in our greenhouse. A season starts small.
Every growing season starts with genetics we trust. We have sourced all our hemp seed from OregonCBD since our first crop in 2018. Their varieties have served us well through Oregon's short, unpredictable growing season.
Greenhouse starts become summer rows in our USDA Certified Organic hemp fields, alongside 30 acres of hazelnuts.

When the starts are ready, we move them from greenhouse trays into the field. Vina and Sterling ride the planter, setting the next crop into the soil.

When October comes, neighbors and family friends help bring the crop in. We harvest and dry the hemp on the farm before it moves into extraction.

See the crystals and the storyOur CBD process starts with what looks like a giant hemp tea. After filtering, crystals form in water in a 400-gallon stainless steel tank fitted with an overhead mixer. We collect, wash, dry and refine them into isolate.

Isolate means an individual cannabinoid separated from the rest of the extract. It can be CBD, CBG or CBN. These are three separate tinctures, each made with one isolate and organic MCT oil.

Which cannabinoid is in CALM, FOCUS and SLEEP?
CALM is our CBD tincture, FOCUS is our CBG tincture, and SLEEP is our CBN tincture. We make our own CBD and CBG isolates; the CBN in SLEEP is supplied by FloraWorks.
Can you help with recipes and formulations?
Yes. We make our own formulas and welcome questions about working with our isolates. Tell us what you are making, the ingredients and batch size, and where you are getting stuck.

How do you keep the price approachable?
We grow hemp, make our CBD and CBG isolates and do our own formulation and bottling. Mellow Moose grew out of that existing family operation. Selling our formulas directly lets us set the price ourselves.
Compare total cannabinoids and bottle size together. RECOVER has 6000 mg in 120 mL; CALM has 3000 mg in 30 mL. A bigger total does not mean a more concentrated serving.
Which tinctures contain THC?
FLOW, SYNERGY and RECOVER contain Delta-9 THC. CALM, FOCUS, SLEEP, BALANCE and PETS are labeled THC-Free (<LOQ). In that label, <LOQ means the applicable batch report lists Delta-9 THC below the laboratory's quantitation limit. Check the product and batch report; no hemp product guarantees a negative drug test.
Are all Mellow Moose products certified organic?
No. CALM, FOCUS, BALANCE, SYNERGY, RECOVER and PETS, plus our CBD and CBG isolates, are listed as Organic in Oregon Tilth's certified product directory.
SLEEP, FLOW, MEND and REPAIR are not certified organic. An organic ingredient does not make the finished formula certified organic.
Where can I find the lab results?
We track every batch by lot number. Open Lab Results, choose your product and match the code on your label to its Certificate of Analysis. Read the tested results and the report's limits together.
How does shipping work?
Processing takes 1–3 business days. Orders of $100 or more ship free within the US, excluding merchandise, and every order is insured. Processing time is separate from delivery time.
