All products are derived from federally compliant hemp and contain no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. Cannabinoid levels may vary slightly from batch to batch. Independent third-party laboratory testing is conducted for each batch, and results are available via the Certificate of Analysis (COA). Even when laboratory testing indicates non-detectable levels of Delta-9 THC, trace cannabinoids may still be present. We cannot guarantee that use of this product will not result in a positive drug test.

A combination we don't recommend

FOCUS + SLEEP (CBG + CBN) is one combination we generally advise against. CBG supports daytime alertness; CBN is associated with rest and wind-down. Combining them tends to cancel out the benefits of both rather than complement each other — most users get better results choosing one based on time of day rather than blending them.

This flexibility makes it easier to adjust cannabinoid profiles based on personal preference and tolerance.

Why we keep it simple

Most CBG tinctures contain additional ingredients — flavorings, sweeteners, emulsifiers, preservatives. FOCUS intentionally doesn't. By using only USDA Organic CBG isolate and USDA Organic MCT oil, we keep the cannabinoid profile clean, the ingredient list short, and the result fully USDA Certified Organic.

What is CBG?

CBG (cannabigerol) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found naturally in hemp. Often called the "mother cannabinoid," CBG is the precursor compound from which most other cannabinoids — including CBD, THC, and CBC — are formed during the hemp plant's growth cycle. Because mature hemp converts most of its CBG into other cannabinoids as it ripens, pure CBG is much rarer than CBD, which makes high-purity CBG isolate harder to produce. FOCUS uses ≥97% pure USDA Organic CBG isolate in a clean two-ingredient formulation.

Will FOCUS make me feel high?

No. FOCUS is non-intoxicating and tested to non-detect (<LOQ) levels of Delta-9 THC across every batch. CBG is the only active cannabinoid, and CBG does not produce psychoactive effects.

Does FOCUS contain THC?

FOCUS is formulated to test non-detect (<LOQ) for Delta-9 THC in every batch. Trace cannabinoids may be present at levels below laboratory quantification limits. We cannot guarantee a negative drug test, but the formulation is intentionally designed to minimize THC exposure.

Will FOCUS affect a drug test?

How long does it take to feel effects?

Many people notice effects within 30–90 minutes when taken sublingually (under the tongue). Timing can vary based on individual factors like metabolism, body weight, and whether the tincture was taken with food.

Can I take FOCUS every day?

How is FOCUS different from CALM?

FOCUS contains CBG only and is oriented toward clarity and daytime use, while CALM contains CBD only and is oriented toward relaxation. Many customers use both — FOCUS during the day, CALM in the evening — or combine them for a balanced cannabinoid profile.

How is FOCUS different from full-spectrum tinctures?

Full-spectrum tinctures contain a mix of cannabinoids (including small amounts of THC) along with terpenes and other plant compounds. FOCUS contains CBG only — a single, purified cannabinoid in a controlled, non-detect (<LOQ) Delta-9 THC formulation. Can FOCUS be combined with other Mellow Moose products?

How should I store FOCUS?
