Why we keep it simple — and why flavor-free matters for pets

Will PETS make my pet feel high?

No. PETS is non-intoxicating and tested to non-detect (<LOQ) levels of Delta-9 THC across every batch. CBD and CBG are the only active cannabinoids, and neither produces psychoactive effects in animals or humans.

What types of pets is PETS intended for?

PETS is formulated for dogs and cats. The 1:1 CBD/CBG ratio at 1000mg total potency works for both species, with appropriate weight-based dosing. We don't have specific dosing guidance for other animals (rabbits, ferrets, horses, etc.) — pet owners with non-standard species should consult a veterinarian familiar with cannabinoid supplements.

PETS uses a lower total potency (1000mg vs 3000mg) and a balanced 1:1 CBD/CBG ratio, formulated specifically with smaller body weights in mind. The formula is similar to BALANCE (CBD and CBG isolates in organic MCT oil), but PETS uses a 1:1 ratio at a lower concentration that makes weight-based dosing easier for animals, while BALANCE is 2:1.

Can humans take PETS?

Yes. PETS is made with human-grade USDA Organic ingredients and contains no flavorings or additives that wouldn't be appropriate for human use. The ingredients are the same ones used in BALANCE, but the ratios differ: PETS is 1:1 CBD to CBG at about 34 mg per mL, while BALANCE is 2:1 at about 95 mg per mL. If you want a human-strength tincture, start with BALANCE or CALM rather than treating PETS as a lower dose of the same product.

Will PETS interact with my pet's medications?

If your pet is taking prescription medications or has a diagnosed medical condition, consult your veterinarian before introducing PETS. Cannabinoids can interact with certain medications by affecting how they're metabolized, and a veterinarian familiar with your pet's specific situation is the best person to advise.

Does PETS contain THC?
